The Republicans forced one of their own out of office six months ago for improper behavior. They also asked Sen. Craig to resign from office for his behavior and ostracized him when he refused. There are several other instances of Republicans resigning from office for improper behavior. I'm an Independent, and objectively speaking, it is quite clear that Republicans hold their own to a higher standard of personal conduct that the Dems do. The Dems defend their own regardless unless it is abundantly clear that the behavior is indefensible.

Nope. He would have been burned at the stake.

Resignation isn't needed. There isn't anything lewd about underwear, the woman lives three thousand miles away and isn't upset about anything Weiner did, or didn't do.
Neither of them thought this was a big deal until the press went after him about it.
Republicans don't resign even when they plead guilty in court, so lets not even go there. Craig finished out his term, Vitter is still in office. Sandford left after trying to stay.

You mean like Vitter, Craig, Sanford, Ensign, etc.? Republicans don’t resign. Spitzer, a Democrat, did however.

He would of been forced out.

No.

The minute we heard the name "Breitbart" we knew it was a hoax. Do try to pay attention to something other than other men's crotches.
