No denying these peeps are just plain spoiled. If i got any of these i would be thrilled. I got a kindle touch a few months back i was delighted i kept on thanking my parents and sometimes even thank them now. Some parents/carers think that love is buying the latest gadgets and stuff for their kids - its plain ignorance. In my opinion - its pretty much trying to avoid the basic manners of bringing up your children. It disgusts me at times and i am not much of an adult at myself .

High expectations followed by disappointment. It's not an unusual thing.

WalMart (among other stores) was putting out Christmas decorations in October, so kid's anticipation of Christmas has been building for months. Commercialism is part of the driving force, it's not just spoiled kids or overindulging parents. Christmas is huge in America.

Americans are used to a high standard of living, even in poverty.
