There's a good chance he likes you. It's obvious that he cares for you. A real man is going to act like that toward all of his female friends, but he's putting a lot of effort into being there for you and trying to make you feel good. You should just talk with him. Express interest in who he is. Ask him questions. Make sure that he understands that you appreciate him and enjoy your time talking with him. Avoid social media though- face to face contact is what matters most. Let him make the first move though. If he has a pair, he'll ask you out and let you know how he feels about you. Just build a friendship with him and let him do the rest. If he doesn't make a move, he isn't worth your time- bottom line.
