So I made my Yahoo account a while and planed on using it all the time but I don't because I'm sick of getting every single Facebook notification emailed to my Yahoo account. How do I disable this because now I'm up to over 1000 emails.

Click "Run as Administrator," then "Yes" on the dialog box that appears.

Press "Ctrl" and the letter "O" simultaneously.

Click "Text Documents" and change it to "All Files."

Open the "C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\HOSTS" file.

Type "127.0.0.1" -- without quotes -- at the bottom of the file, then press the "tab" key.

Type "facebook.com" -- again, without quotes -- and press the "Enter" key.

Repeat Steps 7 and 8, replacing "facebook.com" with "www.facebook.com" -- without quotes.

Press "Ctrl" and "S" simultaneously to save the changes, which take effect immediately.

Close Notepad.
