How to disconnect Facebook to Yahoo mail?

So I made my Yahoo account a while and planed on using it all the time but I don't because I'm sick of getting every single Facebook notification emailed to my Yahoo account. How do I disable this because now I'm up to over 1000 emails.

Open the "C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\HOSTS" file.

Type "127.0.0.1" -- without quotes -- at the bottom of the file, then press the "tab" key.

Type "facebook.com" -- again, without quotes -- and press the "Enter" key.
