indirect links - beneficial or not? - Jack - 05-07-2014 05:12 AM

I was just reading about indirect links. I am confused if they are any beneficial or not? Look the below article: http://reference-education.ezinemark.com/what-is-the-importance-of-good-grades-in-your-exam-results-7d39293b1598.html

In the author bio, the link on keyword "Online India Education" is a redirected link. Please tell me if this kind of link is good for our website or not.
I am not sure if it called redirect link or anything else. It is just that the link doesn't contain my website url direct instead it is in the below form
http://ezinemark.com/goto.php?url=http://onlineindiaeducation.com/
So, it is kind of indirect link. I just want to know if it is beneficial for seo purpose or not.

I am not totally clear as to your definition of indirect. Search engines do honor 301 permanent redirects, for circumstances like a relocated site.

Linking through a URL shortener probably does not pass link juice.

On site redirect links using javascript can be seen as 'cloaking' in some cases and might damage search ranking.

If the link is Do Follow link then it will be beneficial.

It's Depend on link, if link is do follow then it's beneficial other wise not..
