indirect links - beneficial or not?
I was just reading about indirect links. I am confused if they are any beneficial or not? Look the below article: http://reference-education.ezinemark.com...b1598.html
In the author bio, the link on keyword "Online India Education" is a redirected link. Please tell me if this kind of link is good for our website or not. I am not sure if it called redirect link or anything else. It is just that the link doesn't contain my website url direct instead it is in the below form http://ezinemark.com/goto.php?url=http:/...ation.com/ So, it is kind of indirect link. I just want to know if it is beneficial for seo purpose or not. Ads |

I am not totally clear as to your definition of indirect. Search engines do honor 301 permanent redirects, for circumstances like a relocated site.
Linking through a URL shortener probably does not pass link juice. On site redirect links using javascript can be seen as 'cloaking' in some cases and might damage search ranking. Ads |
