There's a quotation that I really like, it used to be on my facebook page before and then I deleted it a few weeks later - for no reason. Now I've noticed it's on one of my friend's profile (it wasn't there before). Can I still use it on my profile as well?

Yes you can use it on your page as long as you cite it properly on the page and not plagiarize.

yea!you can its fine dont worry aboout it if they say anything just say oh i had it on my profile, chances are they saw it on yours and liked it, so its a compliment
