Can I use a quotation on my Facebook profile if someone else already has it on theirs?

There's a quotation that I really like, it used to be on my facebook page before and then I deleted it a few weeks later - for no reason. Now I've noticed it's on one of my friend's profile (it wasn't there before). Can I still use it on my profile as well?
