did you know that in the state of israel it's illegal for a jewish person to marry a non-jew? In fact an atheistic jew cannot marry a non-jew who converts to judaism. However not once will you hear about this in the american media.

So what? Did you know that in the countries neighboring Israel, if a muslim becomes Jewish, he will get his head cut off? That concerns me a bit more than who can marry whom in another country.

ok...............but WHY should most mainstream ( middle class Americans) have a vote or a voice on what is legal or illegal in Israel?
