did you know that in the state of israel it's illegal for a jewish person to marry a non-jew? In fact an atheistic jew cannot marry a non-jew who converts to judaism. However not once will you hear about this in the american media.

ok...............but WHY should most mainstream ( middle class Americans) have a vote or a voice on what is legal or illegal in Israel?
WHY............................. it is not like YOU ( the Israeli es) are going to give me a good deal on fruit...................you are not going to give me a discounted medical fee ( you excel us in research) I love you.....................You love me.....................and everybody has some secrets. you are talking about a religious ceremony vs civil contract. as most of the Israelis are not orthodox and oppose old misinterrupted rules and laws your claim is invalid. |
