4 reasons why social networking sites are bad for teenagers?
Everyone, please state reasons why Social networking sites, eg. Facebook,Myspace,Twitter and Bebo are Bad or unhealthey for teenagers?

Because teenagers don't know what's right and wrong mostly.They are still immature people.

1. It means that they then don't communicate as much in the real world and rely on social networking sites, leading to lessening their social skills.
2. Sitting in front of a computer for long periods of time is unhealthy anyway, it replaces things like exercise.
3. It makes bullying easier because you can make things like 'hate pages' and stuff like that, which is bad for self esteem and the like.

Bullying - either as a bully or a victim, grooming, following the crowd and doing the wrong thing.

Fake personalities, addicting, lose ability to have a REAL conversation, 90% of it is full of pointless rubbish irrelevant talk.

1. Bullying can occur and hurtful misleading comments can be posted
2. you could end up befriending someone who may not be who they say they are

3. you could let youFriendsds know your parents away on holiday and a wild out of control party could occur
4. there and some people who are not very nice on these sites
