No. Fast food isn't any more to blame than wholesome food. In fact, some fast food is quite wholesome. Food is necessary, but particular kinds of preparation of food doesn't make it addictive, like tobacco, alcohol, crack, heroine, or synthetic pain-killers.

Plenty of people only eat fast food, but because they're active, they don't get fat.

No!
its not the restraunts fault that they became... well fat...
they choose to eat the food...
if they dont want to be obese...
maybe they should try eating... subway... or something...

Are they shoving it down your throat? I don't think so! Quit being a fat slug and take responsibility for your self!

No way, Jose! The restaurants give plenty of information to make an educated decision to not stuff your face and then go sit on the couch. They chose to do this so in turn they chose to gain the weight.

Unless there is intentionally misleading or deceitful nutritional information provided by a fast food restaurant, then no, consumers should not be able to sue them for obesity. There comes a point when you must force someone to accept personal responsibility. I believe this is it.

No as it's their decision to eat there not the restaurants.

- wwechick503 - 11-18-2012 01:12 PM

No. People MAKE the choice to go there and eat. Nobody is making them.

No one makes you eat the food, you even go there and pay them to eat the food. No, it's not the fast food restaurant problem. If people didn't go there they would go out of business.

Slowly our freedom to choose for our self is being chipped away and we seem to allow it to happen.

Food doesn't make us fat if we use self control and limit our intake.

What makes us fat is lack of exercise. Playing games for hours on end.

Next they will find a way to take the games or police how many hours we play games.

They are pushing us to the limit.

They will soon be fining us if we have an open container of food in our cars and they will fine us for listening to radio or playing music while driving because it is a distraction.

We have to stop them some way. We need to unite.

No, people should not be able to sue over obesity. The fast food places are not forcing these people to eat their food.
