With sites such as Facebook, twitter and myspace there has been a lot of progress made in the way of creating a strong social network.
What changes would you like to see in order for it to be ideal?

Friends, private messages, easy access to friend updates, what they're doing, status messages, etc.

Lots and lots of people.
An active search option is also twitterfic, not to mention engaging ways of connecting with each other.
I'd like to see a better GUI interface to make it easier to find what you are looking for too without all the nonsense that some social networks include.
