Don't use Facebook as a diary and post how depressed, single etc you are or post abuse about other people. People don't like this and will label you for it.
If you did something interesting today, post it.
Reading a good book? post about it.
Going out tonight? post about it.
Got something planned for the weekend? post it.
Taken a new picture today? post that with a caption about where you are or what you're doing.
