Somebody used my email address to sign up to facebook, how do I undo this? - ZWp6IAYobhvb5oQJ - 12-15-2013 03:29 AM Some person halfway across the world has used my (short) email address to sign up for Facebook, I am now getting daily spam from Facebook. I do not want to 'unsubscribe' - because this is not my account, I want the account un-linked from my email address completely. Facebook should know better than to allow an email address to be used without verifying it. If I can log in to the account, change the password and close the *expletive deleted* account I will. Done, changed language, changed password, deactivated account. Facebook and twitter both did this to me f****** a*******s should confirm email addresses. - Connor - 12-15-2013 03:37 AM Yeah go to facebook click "forgot password" send the password to your email, or reset via email or whatever. You can do exactly what you said. - abraXus - 12-15-2013 03:40 AM yup that's how you do it log into it, change the password for it then go here to delete it https://ssl.facebook.com/help/contact.php?show_form=delete_account - Christopher - 12-15-2013 03:51 AM I tried to do this and got an error from Facebook saying that my laptop is an unknown device. It asked me to verify info. about the person, which I could not and it won't let me into the account using my e-mail. F-ing Facebook... |
