Somebody used my email address to sign up to facebook, how do I undo this?
Some person halfway across the world has used my (short) email address to sign up for Facebook, I am now getting daily spam from Facebook.
I do not want to 'unsubscribe' - because this is not my account, I want the account un-linked from my email address completely. Facebook should know better than to allow an email address to be used without verifying it. If I can log in to the account, change the password and close the *expletive deleted* account I will. Done, changed language, changed password, deactivated account. Facebook and twitter both did this to me f****** a*******s should confirm email addresses. Ads |

Yeah go to facebook click "forgot password" send the password to your email, or reset via email or whatever. You can do exactly what you said.
