Can you shut down your facebook for good? - Michelle - 01-06-2014 01:20 AM The only thing I have found was basicly suspending the account. And I could log back in at any given time. Is there a way to permanently shut it down? And If so, would you provide me the steps? - Jess - 01-06-2014 01:34 AM You can deactivate your account, but it is not permanent as simply by logging in again you can reactivate it. - Richmond - 01-06-2014 01:45 AM On the settings (upper right corner), click "help" and type "How do I permanently delete my account?" Click the first result and click the "deactivate." - SPYDERBLADE - 01-06-2014 02:01 AM I believe if you deactivate your account, Facebook will delete it after 14 days. |
