What's the best way to keep in touch with friends and relatives?
Visit in person or telephone or write a letter. Any other other type of communicating is feeble and callous. Ads |

I still use the telephone (not so much cell phone) & for what I pay for it a month I want to receive calls from people I want to hear from. I do like receiving notes and letters by US Mail, not so much email, but if I do get emails I want them personally to me and not forwarded crapola.

I belong to FB and have re-discovered several old friends, even from childhood, and it's been great to read of their lives today.
I also belong to an online seniors forum...I've never really met these folks but have been 'familiar' with them from this site on, for several years. I use email daily...quicker when I need to contact most family members and some friends, as all have demanding schedule and several have fancy phones with internet capability I use my land phone and cell for family and friends also I do not text. |
