Can police find out who is behind a Twitter account?
Ok so there's this Twitter account called and it's tweeting out all this stuff about people at my school and they're beginning to get a bad rep. They shut down the account but their last tweet was "More after homecoming...". I was wondering if police could find out who it is if someone happens to call them.

If something on Twitter is criminal, and they have cause to determine who owns they account, of course they can.

The police could find out if it was part of a criminal investigation...if you are only curious then no they won't find out for you.
