Can sociology be related to market research?
I have just graduated from univeristy with a major in Sociology.
I'm currently trying look for a permanent job which I hope can be related to Sociology. I'm looking at positions for market research and was wondering how can I convince the company that a Sociology graduate can be considered for a market research job. I'm also open to more suggestions regarding career opportunites for Sociology graduates besides teaching. Thanks! Ads |

The research methods used for the primary market research is identical to social science quantitative research methods. If you have a good foundation in methods and statistics, there's nothing holding you back from a career at a market research company.
