New to using Twitter, help!?
So I'm new to twitter and want to know what the deal is with the minus numbers when you are writing a comment or direct message?? Like when you start writing the number is like 50 or something and as you type it drops to 0 and the goes to -50 etc. etc.
Are you only able to send a message of a certain length?? Thanks! Ads |

there is a character limit. you cant type more than 140 characters. 140 characters is the maximum. ther minus numbers just show you how many characters you have left so you dont overwrite

you're only allowed to post a 150 word tweet
as you type the number of words you use the numbers will go down so if you get to like -50 you cant post that big of a tweet. |
