Un-Update Google Chrome?

Is there a way to un-update Google chrome?
I really want the old New Tabs page back.
This one is just pointless, unnecessary, and inefficient.

Please don't leave comments just saying "No" or "I don't know"

Yes you can. Uninstall your current version completely. Install an old version.

But Google chrome automatically updates. It doesn't have any option to disable the auto update.

But there is a way around.

1. Go to Start > Run > Type "msconfig"
2. Click on "Startup" tab
3. Untick "Google Update"
4. Click OK

It's a process that downloads the updates, disabling it would solve the problem.

Your old version chrome will no longer update.
