iPad Mini for Chromebook?
I am a very involved writer and do not mind using google docs or word online for my wriiting. My question is that will I be making the right desicion if I sell my iPad mini and get a chromebook? I may need it for light researching, but other than that, I need a distraction free way to write. The Chromebook would be my second computing device, as my first computer is an all in one Dell that I just bought for $750 new for at best buy with a coupon that took 10%-20% off. I can't remember. Anyways the dell has office 365 on it with windows 8 so because I need to constrain my spending, do you think this will be a good transaction?

Well, I find the internet pretty distracting myself
If you're using Google Docs, that will work offline if you want to disconnect from the internet while writing. It sounds like a good option, and I think you'll be happy as long as you know that the "app store" for each device is quite different. iOS has a lot of games, and apps that are specialized versions of functions you'll find on websites. Chrome OS really doesn't have that many custom made games (though you can play with a whole internet's worth of Flash games) and you'll just use the real website instead of an app version. Ads |

I just saw in the news that MS office will be coming out for iOS 7x in the near future! So you may want to wait just a bit to see if/ when it comes out!
