From your little story, I would say you are racist regardless for bringing the race issue at all considering he is your ONLY BLACK male "friend"...and then go on to make it a point to validate by ethnicity what your other friends don't do.

sounds like it as you are making it an issue. if you saw him as only our friends and not yuor "only black friend" then it would not have been an issue. you know you can adjust your privacy settings to not see his updates right?!?!?

I would say no. In part the fact he doesn't communicate much is a good reason.
The fact his language is offensive to you is another. I have deleted contacts for not having political views compatible with mine. I should point out that compatibility doesn't mean always agreeing--merely being able and willing to listen as well as speak. It should not be a problem. We all get to pick our friends. |
