Can you temporarily disable your facebook account?

Yes you can, here's how.

1. Log onto facebook
2. Click account (right hand corner)
3. Click account settings
4. Look for the word deactivate and click it
5. It will say: Why are you deactivating? and it'll give you choices.
6. Pick "This is temporary. I'll be back."
7. Click deactivate

And there you go, it looks like you've deleted it.
People cannot search you up.
To reactivate it, just simply log in
