This is why ppl hate facebook. Nobody understands all of Facebook rules. Not to mention, I have no interest in someone's toga party, that they are eating pizza now or that their toe hurts. If someone has something really important to say, they can email me directly.

I am not sure that she actually knew that her Ebay item would appear in Facebook. You might mention it to your brother. OTOH, he will probably jump to the defense of his wife. Sorry to hear that she was selling a present chosen by a 4 y.o. Sadly, this is why Christmas is full of emotional baggage and why I make it a point to read Luke Chapter 2 which is the story of the first Christmas: No Santa, no egg nog and no fighting in the dept store over the last cool toy on the shelf.
