Why do people wish their parents (who are not on Facebook) a happy birthday as a status update?
Why would someone wish their mother, father, or any other person a happy birthday as a status update? Is it because they are attention wh0res and someone else's birthday just gives them even more reasons to garner desperately needed attention? Yes, I think that's it.
