What should I say to a girl I know who just lost her mother?
A girl that goes to my school just lost her mother due to brain cancer and I've only talked to her a couple of times but I wanted to say something. Is it appropriate to say this if we've only talked a few times: I'm sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine what you must be going through right now.You and your family are in my prayers

I was going to add, feel free to talk to me if you need anything but I wasn't sure if that was appropriate if I don't know her that well? What else could I say If thats not good? Or should I not even say anything. This will be in a DM on Twitter btw
