What kind of career can someone be if they like using programs like Adobe after affects/photoshop?

Adobe's After Affects and Photoshop are geared towards web media. This would be opposed to Adobe Illustrator which is used for print media. If you are talented at either a job in design would be a good bet. And since you are working with Photoshop, a web designer or graphic designer would be a good place to start.
But it sounds like a lot of what you like doing is small projects for YouTube. Have you ever thought about designing a Twitter background or a Facebook Fan Page? There is a large and expanding market for designers in social media. If you've ever thought of how companies could expand their reach online through Facebbok and YouTube this would be a definite plus. But there are currently a ton of people looking for help designing and making videos for their social presence. Try search Craig's List or local job boards for social media positions or freelance work. Hope that helps! |
