There is a product on the market called a pockmark filler which is used to help fill in the scars left from acne. If you don't still have acne (actual pimples) you may want to use a primer before you apply your foundation. The problem with primer, however, is that it can be extremely oily. If you still do get severe blemishes it is best not to use it.
And honestly, there is is nothing that looks worse than someone trying to cover up acne with loads of foundation. The key is to use a concealer with a light green tint which will fight the redness of your blemishes. The best thing to do is to try to avoid foundation as much as possible if you still have acne because it will just make it worse. But for kicks if you want a foundation that is good for acne-prone skin try Neutrogena SkinClearing oil-free makeup and pick up Rimmel's Stay Matte powder. Good luck!! |
