Democrats how much will cap & trade add to the cost of an average backyard bar-b-que; think of all the CO2?

Yes, BBQs will probably be banned; wouldn't be surprised. But the real cost is going to be in your regular household energy bills. It's estimated they will rise by approximately $1000 per year. Here's all the other great stuff that will happen:

1. The cost of all goods will go up. Increasing energy costs increases production costs, thus increasing the costs of all goods themselves.

2. It includes over $60 billion in spending, something we dont need in an economic recession, where government spending is already out of control.

3. The bill will result in lost jobs as they are outsourced to countries which do not have cap and trade and have more efficient energy and production.

4. It is expected to result in only a 2% drop in US emissions over 10 years, and does not guarantee that other countries will reduce emissions.

5. Some companies may use cap and trade to their advantage and abuse the system for profit. Europe has reported it does NOT work. Why do it in the US?
