Predominantly, yes, because a lot of whitening products still proliferate the market. But, not every Filipino is like that. I believe that color is irrelevant and does not suggest status, intelligence, and beauty! Brown color or the Filipino skin, is abundant in melanin which is essential to thwart off skin cancer. Consequently, the age does not age faster than normal. So, there you go, Filipinos, be proud of your skin! Stop the Dona Victorina syndrome that has plagued the country for so long!
