Is it legal to post full movies on facebook?

I see people do it all the time.. they always leave a disclaimer stating that its only up for the fans who love the movie and all credit goes to the following companies.. I dont know if that does any good though.. I was thinking channels like fuse and mtv2 have to pay artists for showing their vids. But we share the vids everday through YouTube.. so maybe of you show it through parts individually, and leave a disclaimer saying it has something to do specific with the scene being showed and give credit to the director, producer, marketing group and all companies also state you don't wish to gain financial profit in anyway. This is just what I see done all the time.
