umm I would say your first step should be starting a conversation, maybe wave hello whenever you see her.
I used to be massively shy so when a guy just suddenly started talking to me I was massively comfortable with it, it was his confidence that really got me to like him.
Shy girls love LOVE guys with confidence, almost every girl likes that.
Basically ignore whatever anybody says she is like and what she likes, only she knows who she is. All you have to do is say hi and slowly get into her trust circle,
