When married folk spend excessive amounts of time on social sites such as Facebook and Twitter is that indicative of a problem at home (in the relationship)? A few of my Facebook friends are married with at least 2 1/2 kids but regardless of what time I log into Facebook (5AM or 10PM) they have current status updates. I often wonder how much time they actually commit to their relationship since so much of their time is spent on Facebook scheduling play dates (for example ladies night mixers). Does this mean there is a problem at home? Can this create a problem in the home of married couples?
@ Lauren, you bring up a good point about being further away from family. So, why not call them instead of sharing thoughts/photos on social sites for the world to see? Once you post that stuff you have absolutely no control over where it goes. BUT, if it works for you... @swbarnes, you made a defensive comment but you didn't answer the question. Ads |
