Why do teenagers think smoking weed and marijuana is cool?

I think everything's okay in moderation and with self control. I smoked a bit towards the end of high school, but not because I thought it was "cool", it was something I kept private or between close friends, and most other's I knew who smoked weren't trying to impress anyone either. I did it for the reason you just mentioned, it was fun. I love watching movies, drawing, and painting when I'm high. It clears my mind and makes me see things in a different light. Of course, I never let it get in the way of my responsibilities, I always get my work and chores done before I do anything so it's never caused any issues in my life. It's not unhealthy if it's just pure weed and you smoke using a vaporizer to keep your lungs clean, it's not physically addicting either and it's affects aren't permanent, you can always quit.
