Why do teenagers think smoking weed and marijuana is cool?

Ok this is the basic answer: Smoking weed when you are underage WILL effect you. Your brain has not completely developed and weed will hinder some of its growing process. There is no denying that plan and simple.
Now, i am 17 and i do smoke weed, i've been doing it for a year now and i have only done it about 5 times? If you smoke incredibly rarely like i do weed will have little to no effect. As an adult smoking weed will obviously harm you to some degree since you are breathing in chemicals and smoke but compared to cigarettes or soda is almost harmless. Basically if you are underage dont smoke weed, and you if do CONTROL yourself. If you are an adult you're old enough to make that decision and it honestly is harmless compared to drinking or cigs.

to answer the other question, teenagers think smoking weed is cool because everyone else does it. Its all over the media etc, plus its fun there is no denying that.
