Means you are trying to get fame for yourself. It is easy to promote anything that people usually search for like any product or any topic. But self promotion is bit harder you will have to give your full focus on this. You can adopt following strategies for this purpose
- make some videos and put them on YouTube with link to your website
- get active on twitter and find some followers
- Make Facebook page and attach it with your website
- Discuss some cool topics on your website meanwhile promoting yourself
But do not forget to give attention to your website like putting some articles , on page and off page optimization and all the SEO stuff. Hope you will succeed
