I wouldn't follow annoying people who constantly beg for follows or make lame fan accounts. At the same time, although it's nice to follow a lot of people, it just clutters things up when you follow too many people or have them on your timeline. So I'd follow only 500 people, those being people I actually know, and maybe 100 more fans who I find interesting Smile
