The free market has been choked to death in the last 12 years. It hasn't been allowed to work. The free market would provide opportunities for innovation that may even provide a new energy source, many more jobs to decrease the poverty level. People who have decent jobs don't need government interference. You act like people are helpless little victims. People are capable of many things if given a chance to take care of themselves. The government has to get out of the way and let the gears start turning again.
