What is so great about the Beatles that people tell me I should listen to them?

Because they are considered legendary musicians because they changed the way music was played, written and preformed. They aren't the best band in the world, but they achieved and changed a lot which makes the aspect of The Beatles music so cool. Not everyone has to like The Beatles, but they do have great music.
