You're really a jerk for that. All she wanted was a friend. Tell her in person that you're sorry for not talking to her like you should have. But don't try to be friends with her unless she asks to, you've already hurt her too much.
I don't understand why you would ignore her like that. It's so mean and hurtful. You wonder why she's ignoring you and think she didn't notice? Of course she does, she's not stupid. She was just hoping that maybe, one day, you will show her kindness like she has done to you. Did you expect her to hold on forever? I really would like to know why you behaved in such an odd behavior.
