How can i make this a positive facebook post?

So i heard a rather mean, id!otistic joke today. "If we had killed 6 others we'd have the whole week off". Now y'all know it's MLK day and lots of employers give the day off. I'm not black, but that sounded sooooo stupid. Forget he was black, i'm not arguing race. My main thing is that this man fought for civil rights for EVERYONE. Yes Everyone because by starting his movement, others followed: latino, asian, gays, handicapped etc. And the fact that some id!ot is so self-centered as to say such joke for his own benefit ("getting more days off") seems utterly ridiculous to me. OK SORRY. I'm trying to make this a facebook post, but i dont want to sound like i'm ranting or offend anyone. Can you give me some suggestions?
