We wouldn't care as much but we would still be shocked and horrified.
While the magnitude wouldn't be the same, that's just due to the fact that we aren't Canadian. Canadians, on the other hand, were shocked by this but would be more so if it happened on their soil. Generally, the Canadians do have the advantage that the Americans would feel more for them than most other nationalities, given their proximity, relatedness to Americans, and the fact that Americans simply like Canadians better than most. |
