Please help.... Is it a good idea?
Quick warning: this will be a bit long. I apologize.... feel free to skim.
Question: Is it a good idea to confront him on Valentine's day? Information: I'm a girl, freshman. My only friend (junior, guy) are really close, but Wednesday night my (overprotective) father told me to stop talking to him because we talked every day. So over Facebook, I told him that we couldn't be friends anymore.... I didn't want to, but I wanted to be honest with him since he noticed I was avoiding him. He took it a bit hard, and so all of yesterday/today, we didn't talk at all.... I'm really sad, because I don't have any late-night conversations to look forward to anymore, and I think I might have developed feelings for him, too. I'm planning to make truffles on Wednesday, and write him an apology letter so I can give them to him on Thursday. I'm also planning to try and talk my father into letting me talk to him on weekends and at lunch only, since his main reason was because he thought we were talking too much. If he agrees, I'll add that into the letter and hope for the best.... Though, I'm having doubts. What if he doesn't want to keep contact? I don't want to do anything I will regret, so I'm having mixed feelings.... I kind if miss talking to him. .__." I generally tend to avoid social interaction, because I feel tense around people, but I feel calm around this guy.... I have straight As (excluding Physical Education, I have a B there), and I am well aware of how trivial relationships are in high school, but I just.... like the idea of having good morals, and having a reason to smile >.< We used to spend time together reading at Lunch, and he usually asked for hugs just before the bell rang.... if that counts. Thanks for the answers, I appreciate your input. Ads |
