How do I get out of this embarrassing Facebook issue?
My sister is extremely trashy, to put it simply. I've had to deal with her in more troubling ways, but now it's wreaking havoc online. We have an uncommon last name, so people searching for me can stumble upon her quite easily. She makes Facebook posts about her issues in the legal system (making bail, etc.). Her pictures are racy. Her comments and replies to people on her page are quite illiterate sounding.
I could brush it off as a distant relative I've never met, but her page states she originates from my hometown and there are pictures of me in her profile pictures noting me as her sister. In high school, when people looked her up, they usually had no tact about it and asked why my sister "is so weird." I'm really scared of this causing issues in my professional life. I guess my question is, how do I respond when people ask me about this? Thanks. Tara: The problem isn't that I'm tagged, it's that we have the same last name and that my face exists in pictures of her. Ads |
