Is it against US military policy to bad mouth the US President on social media?

As Sgt Billy Bob, no you cannot bash the commander in chief. But, as Mr. Billy Bob, you have freedom of speech. So... claiming to be in the military... no they should not be opening their mouths and yes it can come back and bite them in the butt. But, if they went on their as private citizens, they are welcome to say what they want.

Just like a member in uniform cannot attend a political rally or a protest. But out of uniform, they are free to do so.
