It's called "Class Envy".

The democrat party teaches us to hate the rich, and that means no tax cuts for the evil rich.

The democrat party teaches us tax "cuts do not work", and "how are we going to pay for those tax cuts".

Because tax cuts take away power and control from government.

Liberals love to punish achievment, and reward failure.

Since the bottom 50% of wage earners pay only 3% ot the total income tax burden it is very easy for them to vote to raise taxes on others.
