YES! yes he does... he might not be flat out showing it but he does most likely care for you more then just a friend! try expressing how you feel about the situation and show him your perspective! who knows? maybe it was a big mistake in his eyes to break up. i am a guy! ( btw) probably to sensitive for my own good Confused and there is a girl that i like and i do almost the same thing... but im to scared to say hi to her :/ anyway, from my perspective of him ( if it were me ) is yes he likes and cares for you but he may not have the courage to show it Smile I hope some of this helps Smile and Good Luck!
